Superior Communications at an Affordable Price
In 1976 one of our founders, a broadcast engineer and communications specialist, joined with a wholesaler of electronic parts and formed a company which owned and operated a Radio Shack® franchise in Annapolis, Maryland.

From the beginning, customers sought advice to correct, improve and install cabling within their homes or businesses. Bowing to constant requests to sell, install and repair telephones and small business systems, the service department recruited a staff of dedicated professional technicians with only one demand: That all jobs, regardless of size, would be treated the same: with expert personal attention, and in strict compliance with sound engineering practices and local building codes.

As our reputation for quality merchandise, reasonable prices and superior service grew; we were approached by Ameritech® and asked if we would become one of their repair and installation contractors for the Baltimore-Washington metropolitan area. As an Ameritech® contractor we serviced major companies like K-Mart®, Borders®, and Walden Books®, United Airlines® and others. As dispatch teams at other similar national companies learned about us, our workload and customer base expanded to the point that, in July of 2003, the telecommunications branch of Silicon Valley Electronics became a division in and of itself, and the brick & mortar retail electronics shop which was an outgrowth of the Radio Shack® closed.

Now, nearly 75% of our voice and data customers are due to our contractual relations with most of the National Service Providers.

Sure, we love the work and attention we have garnered, but we will never forget that we began helping local residential and business customers in the D.C., Maryland and Virginia area.

There is no job so big or small that we will not devote our maximum effort towards meeting your needs.
